This web site is primarily used for publishing meeting minutes and notices, but it also has an interactive map showing all the recent planning applications in the area.
The planning application map is linked directly to Aberdeenshire Council's Planning web site so people can go directly to the relevant application, view plans and drawings and comment directly on the application.
There is also a small module that automatically calculates the date of the next meeting to help keep site maintenance work to an absolute minimum and also to avoid incorrect or out of date information being displayed.
